[ Well then, don't mind if Oria finishes them off for Sinclair. After that, he pays for the meal and then runs out with Sinclair, hand in hand, get into a taxi and they zooooom elsewhere.
Their date is pretty fun! They have fun in a silly escape room (up to you on how it goes), a hot air balloon ride, and the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Oria always tells his chaperone where he goes so that he doesn't freak out when he can't find Oria in the previous location.
Then they're going on a sleepover! Oria books a specialty hotel where each room is really more like a hangout spot than a hotel room, really. There are video game consoles, flat screen TV, a slide from the top bunk to get to the floor, a billiard table, a kitchenette, bathroom, and all that. No alcohol, but there's fruit juice. The available beds are top bunk, bottom bunk, and a king sized bed.
And when Oria comes back from getting his snacks and chatting with Sinclair over email, he expects to be hit with a pillow the moment the door opens. ]
[ Sinclair swears he sees Don's head around the corner as they zoom out the restaurant but you know what - they all deserve to be left behind.
The date is fun ofc - it's also a lot but Sinclair had expected that from Oria so he's not too surprised. Maybe he can get used to Oria spoiling him? Who knows.
(It's Oria and Sinclair, how could the escape room be anything but a win.)
That said as soon as he gets the door open for Oria, he keeps his promise. A pillow to the face goes zooming from across the room. Hah.]
[ Oria expects it, but he also willingly gets hit in the face in an angle that doesn't push his glasses in too much, so he sets the snacks on the floor and off to the side before grabbing the thrown pillow and attempting to jump Sinclair. ]
[ Oria scoffs and takes those gentler hits as he sits up, gets off the bed, and then tackles Sinclair from the angle so that they both go flying towards the center of the bed. ]
[ At least Oria doesn't have to explain it. He just smiles a bit, because, well. All that stuff before? It was online. Not that it justifies Oria having done them, but it's very much more real here, in reality outside of it. Even if it feels real in both worlds, what will impact people harder is here, where you can't just shut off pain sensors willy nilly, or having to face consequences for acting on intrusive thoughts... ]
It's really cute when you do things without thinking, because regardless of the action, your intentions are pure.
[ He's not saying Sinclair is a cinnamon roll, because he hates that phrase so much. ]
[He's blushing so much now. Also not moving yet as he tries to reboot his brain. This is a little embarrassing. Even though technically Oria had done this to him first]
I can't tell if you're trying to compliment me or make fun of me.
[But it's true, Sinclair really hadn't been thinking of anything additional until Oria said it. So he just pokes Oria's cheek. Urk.
and that's because Sinclair is a sinnamon roll. sinclairoll?]
[ When Sinclair pokes Oria's cheek, he returns the favor by poking his knee, which, you know, is right there with how Sinclair is straddling him on the stomach and all. ]
[ Does it count as winning if Sinclair places his hands on Oria's shoulders to pin him properly. He knows what this looks like this time...But it's fine!!! Might be eying another pillow to smack Oria with]
I-I just blush easily. [It's a curse] It shouldn't count.
