[ Oria leans in to eat the cake. Delicious chocolate cake. Yummy. It's Oria's turn to feed Sinclair, so he holds out a piece of cake to him... and if Sinclair goes for it, Oria will keep inching it away from him whenever he tries to take a bite. ]
[ Oria keeps smiling even with the icing on his face. He could just get a napkin and do the whole manners shtick, but Oria is here on a date, not a meeting. So he wipes the icing off his own face with a thumb and licks it off.
[Sinclair's gaze flickers a little as he rests his cheek against the palm of his hand. He really can't avoid Oria's gaze at all. And for that, Oria gets another forkful of chocolate cake]
Mm...I can. [He just wants to pout] I don't mind. But I feel like I should say it anyway, so you know.
I guess if I actually minded, I would have said something. [ He's not that much of a pushover. And he knows Oria listens well] It's you, so it feels nice, even if I also feel like I should be embarrassed.
[ It's a pity that the strawberry doesn't even get a chance to hold Oria back for more than three seconds, because that also goes down the hatch just as quickly. Yummy. ]
[He blinks, then ducks his head to hide a smile. His food is mostly finished, anything leftover being anything Sinclair's bird-like appetite can't finish anyway. Matching Oria's whisper]
[ Well then, don't mind if Oria finishes them off for Sinclair. After that, he pays for the meal and then runs out with Sinclair, hand in hand, get into a taxi and they zooooom elsewhere.
Their date is pretty fun! They have fun in a silly escape room (up to you on how it goes), a hot air balloon ride, and the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Oria always tells his chaperone where he goes so that he doesn't freak out when he can't find Oria in the previous location.
Then they're going on a sleepover! Oria books a specialty hotel where each room is really more like a hangout spot than a hotel room, really. There are video game consoles, flat screen TV, a slide from the top bunk to get to the floor, a billiard table, a kitchenette, bathroom, and all that. No alcohol, but there's fruit juice. The available beds are top bunk, bottom bunk, and a king sized bed.
And when Oria comes back from getting his snacks and chatting with Sinclair over email, he expects to be hit with a pillow the moment the door opens. ]

?
???
Hopefully no one is looking their way twice because this is a little embarrassing to begin with but now]
Hey--[pouting] That's mean.
no subject
But you like it.
[ Sinclair keeps saying that he's mean, but doesn't do anything about it— ]
no subject
Do I?

And he watches Sinclair the entire time. ]

You don't seem to mind a lot of things, actually. You never really outright said no to them.

[Modesty is a hard thing to unlearn?]

[ He thought Sinclair would have been a little more uptight about it, but no... he can see traces of Sinclair becoming a kissing fiend. ]
no subject
[Flustering a little and nearly spilling his soda. Aaaaaaaaa]
no subject
[ Sinclair?? Please. ]
Also because I thought you would have been stingy about kisses, but you're like a little puppy that wants more.
no subject
Do you have to describe me like that?
[He's so embarrassed now he could sink into the floor and die. Too bad he can't just log off in real life]
1/2
[ He says with genuine fondness in his voice. ]
I mean, if you really want me to, I can call you something else...
2/3
Hey, handsome. You come here often? Let me buy you a drink—

[Sinclair looks down at the chocolate cake on the plate. Stabs the strawberry. And shoves it against Oria's mouth to get him to stop]
I'm pretty sure that's the worst thing you've come up with. We don't even drink. [Or rather, Oria doesn't drink and Sinclair is a lightweight
also Oria is just an S and this is bad for Sinclair's health maybe]
no subject
You're right. I'll just call for your name.
no subject
I'd prefer that, yes.
[it's nice to be called 'Emil'.]
no subject
Yup!
[ Though, hmmm. ]
Hey, your... coworkers. They won't be stalking us, right?
no subject
Um...I want to say no, but it also depends on if they're bored or not.
[He had gone through so much teasing he's almost immune to Rodya's teasing now. Almost]
And it really would just be three of them who might think about it...
[ Gregor might have his heart in the right place? But Rodya and Don...]
no subject
Wanna ditch them? Just in case.
no subject
Yeah. Just in case.
[It would serve them right anyway]
no subject
Want yours to go for later?
no subject
[ Less than quarter of his burger left, and most of the chocolate cake has been demolished anyway. It's fine. Walking it off will help]
