[ There's a wry look on his face as he puts his free arm over Sinclair's side again. He wants to pull him closer, but he's wary. What if there's a bruise on his back too? There is, but Oria doesn't know that. ]

[Sinclair doesn't care. He presses closer, tucking his face against Oria's neck. He brushes his hand carefully down Oria's side and when he feels the bandages, settles his hand above, just out of the way against the middle of Oria's back]

[ Oria would obviously want Sinclair to be safe. This is why he's mostly against the revenge pact, even if it seems that Sinclair can handle himself. Even if all these bruises... what if it had been a blade instead of a bruise? It fills Oria with worry. ]

[He drums his fingers against Oria's back as he tries to put in words. Why had he joined?]

[Sinclair laughs a little. He can't help it. He thought the same thing]

[ Oria huffs and nuzzles the top of Sinclair's head. His breath against his neck tickles every time he talks, and there's a fuzzy feeling about that. ]

I think they took me more seriously after the trial finished.

[The 'trial'. A joke. There's no need to dwell on that when Oria is here. He doesn't want to linger on that at all. So he nuzzles into Oria's neck a little more]

[He can't believe he's the one getting scolded when Oria's the more injured one between the two of them. He lets his thoughts linger on the last part. That sure is ambiguous]

[ He huffs, breathing out slowly when he feels the kiss on his neck. ]

And look, I'm doing my best to avoid the worst outcomes and now you want me to dodge bullets in real life? Those are really some expectations you're putting on me.

[ He laughs a little. ]

Don't do anything that would get you more hurt. [He doesn't want that, not for his sake] You think being a bodyguard is in my future?

[He doesn't mind the thought, if it keeps him close to Oria. He presses another little kiss there over the same spot]

If it's you, 'm sure you can learn...though, avoiding people who want to shoot you would be nice.

[Or just bullet proof clothing??? Sinclair's trench coat isn't just for show]

[ He might start looking into bulletproof clothing in the future, because being injured like this is such a hassle. Can't do anything if they target his head though. ]

But he briefly tenses a little when he feels the kiss again. ]

[Sinclair laughs. He knows thats impossible in reality, but it is funny to imagine Oria getting mad enough to break real life physics.

Maybe he can get Oria a vest from work. That shouldn't be too bad, right? When Oria tenses, he pulls back a little to check his expression - was that too much?]

[ Sometimes he doesn't know what to do with all the love he has. Kissing though? Kissing helps. He closes his eyes and kisses Oria back, intent and sure]

[ Oria breaks the kiss, but doesn't go too far before resuming it. There will be many more kisses to come if Oria can help it, but for now, they're chaste and short. ]
