Oria orders a few more things and then puts the ordering machine aside on the table. ]

[ The waitress comes over to deliver their food! Oria gets some madeleines with tanzanian peaberry coffee. That's some of the more expensive coffee they brew here. It has hints of lemon, peach, and black tea. ]

There's nothing wrong with liking cute stuff. If anything, it makes it easier to get gifts for you.

When Halloween comes around, you can have them all then.

[Less guilt on Sinclair for throwing away all the boxes. For some reason people keep giving them to him??? It's very strange.

The waitress comes over with Sinclair's burger and his yuzu soda. It's nice. Not too big, which means Sinclair can eat it without getting messy.]

Mmm...[Actually, he knows Oria has a good knowledge of guns, considering his weapon skin in game, but] What do you prefer then if you don't like cute things?

Like... in terms of materialistic things? If not, my answer is gonna be food. A nice meal.

[ Of course it would be food. ]

But if it's for a special occasion, I think it would make me happy. My dad doesn't really come home often—he sometimes sleeps in the corporate office because he's so busy.

[ He bites back from saying "despite everything", but his feelings are still true. He does love his family a lot.

He looks at the plate of chocolate cake, neatly cut into a pretty slice with two small forks towards both of them, one each.

It's a couple discount.

Oria is not short on money, but he still likes to partake in things like this, so he grabs his own fork,stabs a small portion of the slice and holds it out to Sinclair. ]

Wh-[Blushing a little. It's somehow different when Oria does it, than when other people try to do this to him (or maybe it's because that's a game, Sinclair can ignore it?). He takes a bite, prim and neat, pulling back to savour it]

Oh, it's really good...

Right? This cafe is more known for their cakes and coffee. All the other things are good too, but those two are top notch. It also happened to be not so far from your place, so it was a big bonus.

[ He seems pretty proud of himself about that. All the stars really aligned to make this work. ]

Now feed me! Ah~

Mm...I didn't realise something this good was so close.

[How is Oria able to do this with a straight face. Blushing, but he gamely picks up his fork to feed Oria]

[ Oria leans in to eat the cake. Delicious chocolate cake. Yummy. It's Oria's turn to feed Sinclair, so he holds out a piece of cake to him... and if Sinclair goes for it, Oria will keep inching it away from him whenever he tries to take a bite. ]

Hopefully no one is looking their way twice because this is a little embarrassing to begin with but now]

Hey--[pouting] That's mean.

[ Oria has a fond smile on his face instead of laughing as usual and feeds Sinclair for real this time. ]

But you like it.

[ Sinclair keeps saying that he's mean, but doesn't do anything about it— ]

[U-Urk. This time when he feeds Oria, he'll make sure to get a bit of chocolate icing on his face. Hah]

You can't answer that yourself?

[ Oria keeps smiling even with the icing on his face. He could just get a napkin and do the whole manners shtick, but Oria is here on a date, not a meeting. So he wipes the icing off his own face with a thumb and licks it off.

And he watches Sinclair the entire time. ]

[Sinclair's gaze flickers a little as he rests his cheek against the palm of his hand. He really can't avoid Oria's gaze at all. And for that, Oria gets another forkful of chocolate cake]

Mm...I can. [He just wants to pout] I don't mind. But I feel like I should say it anyway, so you know.
